The Mac Games Arcade application is currently available for download and use. Get it and dive right in!

Mac Games Arcade requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later and an Internet connection.

System Requirements

Mac Games Arcade requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later, a 1024 x 768 screen, and an Internet connection to connect to the service. Please make sure your Mac meets these system requirements before launching Mac Games Arcade.

Login Screen

When you first launch Mac Games Arcade, you will be prompted to either create an account, login, or browse:

Create Account: If you have never set up an account on Mac Games Arcade or Macgamestore.com, then you can click on this button to create an account.

Login: If you already have a Mac Games Arcade or Macgamestore.com account, you can click on this button to log in with your email address and password.

Browse: If you would just rather browse through Mac Games Arcade without having to create an account or log in, you can click on browse.

Basic Navigation

Main "Icon" View
The main window of Mac Games Arcade defaults to New Releases. In this "Icon View" you can browse through Mac Games Arcade's latest releases. On the upper left side is the Navigation area which includes My Collection, Store, Downloads, and Shopping Basket. The lower left side of the screen has the Top Best Sellers available through Mac Games Arcade.




Switching Between Icon and List View
In the lower left corner there are two buttons. One offers the "Icon View" and the other offers a "List View".


Main "List" View
List view can also be use to quickly browse through hundreds of Macintosh games. Here you can click to download a demo or add to the cart or double click on the name to go to the product detail view. You can also sort alphabetically, by price, genre, or rating.




Product Detail View
Click on any product to view the full details of a game including its description, release date, download size, price, system requirements, and reviews.

Downloading And Demos

Downloads
When you click to download a demo, the download will go into the Downloads section. Here you can view the progress of your download.




My Demos
If you download a demo of a game, the game will be downloaded and then installed to My Demos. Here you click on the play button to play the demo, click on the cart next to the game to add it to the cart, or remove the demo entirely.

Purchasing

Shopping Cart
When you add an item to the cart, a number will appear in "cart" to let you know how many items are in your cart. Click on the Cart icon to go to the Cart screen. Then click Proceed to Checkout to go to the Checkout screen.



Checkout
Once you are in the Checkout screen, you can enter your credit card details. Please make sure your billing address matches the credit card you enter. Also, please be sure to enter the 3 digit security code found on the back of your credit card (if you have an American Express card, these four numbers are in the front).



My Games
Purchased games are downloaded and installed into your "My Games" area. Here you can click on the play button to play the game. Games can also be reinstalled or removed. Each digital download also shows the serial number for each game for handy reference.

Please note that although a large number of games are auto-serialized for you, some games require that you enter the License Name and License Code when you first launch the game. Make sure you enter the License Name and License Code word for word, including capitalizations!

Purchase History

Mac Games Arcade keeps a complete history of all your digital download purchases. So in the future you can click on your Account from within Mac Games Arcade and reinstall any games you own, even ones you've deleted. To go to your account you must be logged in. Then simply click on your email address in the top right corner of the Mac Games Arcade screen.
